Easy way to be a crowd favorite is to prepare these French Dip Sandwiches!

Being a fairly new resident of the small village of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina and working from home you really have to put yourself out there to meet people and start developing friendships.  Otherwise it can be very easy to feel secluded from the outside world.  Yes, we live in a dream spot right on the Intercoastal Waterway, but this area is so spread out that to find girlfriends to hang out with is a bit more challenging.

I have met a few moms in a Sneads Ferry Mom Group thanks to Facebook!  And after feeling like we are “dating” each others interests to see if we are a good fit I have met a few that I have connected with and and enjoying their company.

So instead of driving 30+ mins to Jacksonville, North Carolina to find a good restaurant to all hang out at, I offered up my home to host!

Who wouldn’t want to enjoy this view at a luncheon?

Easy ladies luncheon idea, invite your girlfriends over and everyone bring a dish!

I was traveling back from Virginia Beach that morning so I needed something easy and quick to make.  Easy French Dip Sliders is so easy and everyone will love!  Instead of a full size sandwich these are more bite sized and room to snack on other dishes!

French Dip Sandwich
Au Jus Seasoning
Servings: sliders
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Butter the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with softened unsalted butter
  3. Slice the package of rolls in half down the middle trying to keep them all together.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the dish. Layer 6 rolls of the provolone cheese, roast beef, french fried onions and then again with the remaining 6 slices of cheese.
  5. In a microwaveable bowl melt the butter. Mix in only 1 Tbsp of the Au Jus seasoning mix, Worcestershire sauce, sesame seeds, dried minced garlic and onion powder.
  6. Top the rolls evenly with the mixture and make sure all the rolls are coated with the sauce.
  7. Bake the sliders uncovered about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
  8. While the sliders are baking take the remaining Au Jus mix and 2 cups cold water and mix over medium heat in small saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer until slightly thickened.
  9. Remove the sliders and cut into individual sliders and place on platter.
  10. Serve the sandwiches with some of the Au Just sauce and ENJOY! Definitely a crowd favorite!
