This recipe is similar to the KIND bars. The boys and I eat alot of granola bars. They are easy snacks especially for a family always on the go. But they can also get kind of expensive. So I started searching online for a good recipe to try.
The only ingredient that I had trouble finding was the Puffed millet rice cereal. I went to Food Lion and they didn’t have it but I did find at Farm Fresh with the organic cereals. The recipe called for brown rice syrup ( never even heard of it) which I also had trouble finding. But I searched online for a substitute and they gave an option of using maple syrup.
